• Describe the weather of desert areas.
• Does it ever snow in a desert?
• What animals live in the desert?
• How do they survive?
• Describe how shelter plays an important part in the survival of desert animals.
• Other than a cactus, what plants grow in the desert?
• Do flowers grow in the desert?
• Can people live in the desert? If so, how do they survive?
