Welcome to the 2007-2008 school year. The school year is off to a great start. The opening days went well with all the kindergarten students welcomed to our elementary school. Beginning the formal educational process is always exciting. It is difficult for me to realize how quickly the students grow ~ it seems like only a few years have gone by since the fifth graders were in kindergarten. It is an enjoyable part of my job to watch the development and growth of the students of Lower Gwynedd Elementary School. It is unbelievable to realize that Lower Gwynedd Elementary opened its doors to students 10 years ago in September 1997. We are starting the 11th year as an elementary school. Please join me in congratulating Frank Palmieri, the building supervisor and the outstanding custodial crew at Lower Gwynedd Elementary. They have maintained newness to the building that is amazing. I would like to mention the crew by name: Michael Bani, Ann Tucker, Harry Henderson and Cheryl Mannon. They have accepted a personal responsibility and pride in care for the building. I am proud to welcome parents, students and visitors to this school. |
