Evaluating Web Pages

Overview: In this lesson, students work in groups to examine and evaluate Web sites on a particular topic. Each student has a particular role and rates the site according to established criteria (using the Web Site Scoring Sheets). Then they will rank the sites using the Web Site Ranking Chart. Each group is examining the same sites, and at the end of the lesson, the groups will compare their rankings and through discussion arrive at a consensus.
