April – June 2007 News

Small Groups: Currently running: 3^rd and 4^th grade girls lunch bunch (informal); 2^nd and 3^rd grade divorce groups and 3^rd and 4^th grade social skills groups. Please call me if you are interested in having your child in a small group.

Testing: PSSA testing was completed in grades 3, 4 and 5 during March. 4^th graders will take the PSSA science field test on April 25 and 26. Test scores will not be reported.

Parenting Programs: We are in the process of scheduling parenting programs for next school year. “Mean Girls” is a popular request. More information to come.

Summer Camp Scholarships: Many of the area camps offer scholarships. Please call me if you are interested.

5^th grade to 6^th orientation: In May we will have a presentation including a video to begin to familiarize our 5^th graders with the Middle School. June 6 is the day we will visit the Middle School. This usually includes lunch in their cafeteria in addition to a tour and presentations by various staff. More information will be coming home.
